Architectural and interiors photography feeds both my geeky and creative sides as it is a perfect blend of technical expertise, on-site troubleshooting, and creative freedom to produce awesome imagery. I love the lines, angles, light, shadows, and how things fit together.

Dee Zunker is a commercial architectural photographer based in Houston, TX. She started shooting interiors and 360 imagery after being asked to join the Google Trusted Photographer program in 2014. She quickly began improving the Google 360 process to achieve higher end results, as well as developing her interior photography techniques.

She worked in corporate America for over 20 years in operations, project development, and business management before moving to architectural and commercial photography full time in 2017. She has always had a strong technical side balanced with a need to be creative and draw outside the lines.

She earned a BS in Chemical Engineering from Texas A&M while playing on a golf scholarship. When not on the golf course, traveling to a tournament, or in study lab, she hung out with friends at Dudley’s in Northgate. Dee later earned an MBA-Finance from the University of Houston.

Dee started shooting Little League Baseball and events professionally in 2011, and still covers the occasional event, and loves shooting baseball from Little League to High School.

Dee is the author at the Geeky Photographer where she writes about gear, technique, computers, and software that support her business. She is also a guest author at the Shooting Spaces blog.
