The City of Bellaire held its annual Fourth of July Parade and Festival on July 4th, 2019. The Parade started from the Bellaire Triangle at 9:30am led by the children’s parade. It turned onto Rice avenue, traveled past the new City Hall, and ended at Jessamine Street. Mayor Andrew Friedberg, Emcee Tom Koch, and the Bellaire Optimists Club presented awards for the best decorated Children’s Parade bikes, best decorated floats, Fireman of the Year, and Police Officer of the Year. The festival included community business booths, games, inflatables, rock wall, and petting zoo. The Lost Boys Band entertained the crowd along with the bubble makers and stilt walker.
