Welland Canal – Two Ships Passing

|

I really enjoyed watching these huge ships pass through the Welland Canal in Ontario, Canada. So much so, I never made it to Niagara Falls on this day. The Welland Canal takes ships around Niagara Falls between Lake Erie and Lake Ontario. If you take a trip to see Niagara Falls, plan a stop by and see Lock 7, 3, and 1. It is 30 minutes away from the Falls and well worth it.

And for Americans that are not planning on crossing the border, you need to go to the Canadian side for the best view of the Falls anyway (especially at night), so include this stop in your plans.
