I attended the 40th Annual Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta earlier this month. The weather just barely cooperated the first day. The winds were blowing in the wrong direction, so many balloonists chose not to fly. The second day was great, right up until the sun disappeared behind some clouds for the last day of Mass Ascension. I still got some cool shots, and here is one of my favorites. This is a burner inside the balloon as they were going hot. The balloon was not quite upright yet.
