I attended the Texian Day celebration at the George Ranch late last year. My most reluctant model, my older daughter, accompanied me. She did a little modeling for me in this image. I love the light, the motion as she walked from the window, and the overall mood of the image. My daughter says she likes the color version better, but this is a color version, I just lowered the saturation to get this mood. I call this one Goldilocks, as it reminds me of a little girl with some big beds that could be for bears.
This image won a first place at the Houston Photographic Society November competition, and I am anxious to see how it does in the annual competition.
