A Golden Night for Bellaire Parks: Capturing the 16th Annual Wine & Tapas Gala Hosted by the Patrons for Bellaire Parks
The 16th Annual Wine & Tapas gala brought a touch of 1920s opulence to the Bellaire Recreation Center this year. With the theme “Everything That Glitters Is Gold,” the event saw the community come together in Gatsby-inspired attire to support a vital cause: the “We Are Evergreen” initiative.
As a Bellaire-based event photographer, my goal was to capture the intersection of high-end gala production and the genuine community spirit that defines our city. The evening’s golden theme and live jazz provided a sophisticated backdrop that perfectly complemented the tapas pairings.
This year’s gala was particularly significant as it honored the Bellaire Business Association for their continued commitment to local growth. The funds raised during the live auction and festivities are directly earmarked for the development of a new multigenerational playground at Evergreen Park, ensuring a lasting legacy for Bellaire families.
