How much do professional headshot sessions cost?
Professional headshot sessions start at $320 for an express session. There are larger packages which include multiple images for portfolio building and branding. Each of our sessions includes premium 3-point lighting, retouching, expression couching and image selection during the session.
What should I wear for professional headshots?
Solid colors are a good choice. Avoid busy patterns, fluffy necklines and sleeves. Select clothing that matches your target industry Business attire works for most headshots. Bring a variety of outfits so we have options and can get the look you need. Keep in mind headshots focus on the chest up, but we can include half body, 3/4 or full body shots in your session.
How long does a professional headshot session take?
Express professional headshot sessions are 30 minutes, with portfolio headshots sessions lasting 1.5-2 hours. Hair and Makeup adds an additional 45 minutes. We take the time to make sure you are completely satisfied with your headshots.
How far away is your headshot studio from downtown Houston?
Our studio is located on the west loop just south of the Southwest Freeway. The headshot studio is 15 minutes from Downtown Houston, 10 minutes from the Houston Medical Center, and 5 minutes from the Galleria area.

The EXPRESS Session includes 1 professionally retouched image, The Premium Headshot Session includes 3 professionally retouched images, and the Portfolio Headshot Session includes 5 professionally retouched images. Additional images can be added to any package.
What is expression coaching in a Professional Headshot Session?
This is not your typical 1-click headshot! We talk about your goals for the headshot, and I guide you through the session to get the relaxed, looking natural, and capturing the look you desire for your headshot. I notice the details, and know little tricks to help you look your best in front of the camera. We have fun too!
How do I prepare for my professional headshot session?

What is the best background for for professional headshots?
Neutral backgrounds are the safest option like white, medium or dark gray. They let your face pop, and go well with many different places for your headshots. A splash of color can match your personal or business branding, and add some interest to headshot or portrait session. I usually recommend starting with the neutral backgrounds, and then adding some colors of your choice. You can see some examples in this post about headshot backgrounds.
