Artesia, NM – La Fonda Restuarant

The La Fonda Restaurant has been in Artesia for as long as I have been coming to Southeastern New Mexico. It is located on Main street close to the intersection of highway 82 and highway 285. My Mom’s parents lived in Artesia, and my Dad’s parents lived in Carlsbad. We would sometimes all meet up here for a meal. When we visit this part of the country, eating at least one meal at the La Fonda is always on the to-do list.
