Houston’s Design Gala returned on May 16, 2026, bringing together architects, designers, and built-environment professionals from across the Houston region for an evening at The Shop Club Houston. The annual gala benefits the Architecture Center Houston (ArCH) which is a nonprofit that supports architectural education, public programming, and community outreach serving more than 4,500 individuals each year.
The evening’s program included a seated dinner, live music, a silent auction, and the presentation of several AIA Houston awards, among them the Ben Brewer Young Architects Award and the AIA Houston Firm Award. New firms receiving Emerging Professionals Friendly Firm designation were also recognized.
